Awareness of what you have achieved – If you count and review all of your achievements, then this will always help you move forward focusing on what has worked.  This will help overcome negative situations, and help you handle your growth by putting your focus in the right direction.

Awareness of what needs to improve.  – allow time to review the areas for improvement. This can be done in a simple way, by allocating a small amount of time each week, and to do a fact find. How did the week go? What situations occurred and why did they occur? How do we change this? How do we take more time to think it through before we start?

Awareness of how you implement the improvements. – To implement your improvements, try to monitor them on a daily basis; doing it this way is the key. Small steps will allow you to make changes as you go.

Awareness of how to motivate yourself and others- Motivation is a big subject but we have to make sure that we are motivated in the right direction.  It is important to get as much feedback from your team, mentors, and people you can rely on, that will let you make the choices yourself. In addition, with your team, it is important to give input and to have regular meetings. Give each staff member a chance to express their opinions. By listening, you accept people’s point of view and you show respect. In this way, you can motivate yourself and others.
